I need your prayers

My doctor called.

There were "abnormalities" in my pap.

I need to come in ASAP for a "little procedure" - just to take a look, and maybe take a few more "samples".

===========================

Yesterday was the "little procedure".  For the record, it's called a colposcopy.

It hurts.

The doctor was honest.  She saw two areas that looked "suspicious".  She biopsied both of them.

Now we wait for the results.

===========================

In the past, I have asked for prayers for my nephews, my daughter, and my Mom.

I don't often ask for myself.  I don't know why... I just have a tendency to ask for prayers for others, and not myself.  It feels kind of... selfish somehow.

But I have no time to worry about that now.  I have to be OK.  There are too many people who depend on me here.  I can't be sick.

I can't have cancer.  I just can't.

So, I'm asking for your prayers.  For my health.  For healing.  For strength.

Thanks.

Man, that is not good news. Serious mojo and prayers will be coming your way from me that those results are NEGATIVE.

You have all my prayers, every day. Things will turn out for the good - too many people love you.

You are absolutely in my prayers. I have not walked your path, so I do not know what you're dealing with exactly. But I do know how that spirit of fear can worm its way into your life and cripple your entire existence. I will be praying that you are free from fear, that the doctors have every skill and tool required at their disposal and that this burden is lifted from you.

Thank you, to each of you.

I hope you never have to face any thing like this... but if you must, I hope you have the love and support of friends such as you.

I will post as soon as I know anything, either way. Promise!

It's the 31st and I'm truly hoping that the lack of an update is due to family celebrating at good news. Saying a prayer for you!

You want prayers? You've got 'em. It's not the first time you've been there.
