Ladies and Gentlemen of the Jury...

... have you arrived at a verdict?

Yes, we have Your Honor.

Guilty.

All counts.

She has been handed over to the jailers.

She can never hurt or deceive anyone again.

The District Attorney says that she will probably spend the rest of her life in jail.

God help us all.

I know you're probably thinking this is all your fault (since that's how I'd be feeling right now), but please keep in mind that her actions were the cause, not yours.

Sending you prayers (and wishing I had something better to say).

Hoping you find the peace you need, soon.

Thim, this is the first I heard of the trial, or I would've commented on your last post.

Sending SEVERE HUGS ;) your way in this time of relief, exhaustion and perhaps, sadness.

When you're able, I WOULD be curious to know what a "best friend" has to do to be sent to jail---for life. That's pretty serious stuff.

Glad the trial is over, Thim. Although I know you must be feeling a mix of emotions right now, I'm sure it's nice to be able to get back to your regular routines again. Good luck with everything.

Wow, Thim, I can't imagine what you've gone through, but I'm glad you're finding peace in the fact that this rough part is behind you.

You don't deserve to get dragged into stuff like that.

Well, look at that. I don't check in a few days and such intriguing things have happened in the interim. My sincerest apologies for the circumstances that led to you having to do this, and here's hoping that life gets a little easier from now on. Best of luck, and many hugs from young Niecie Tenn.

How's the Twinks doing? Tell her I send best of luck on her state-administered exams that I'm sure are coming up. They'll be extroardinarily easy and I have every confidence that she'll boost the average of the sixth grade in her state.

Congratulations, and I'm sorry you had to do it. :-(
